I'm the female vocalist and rhythm guitar player for the Dirt Road Band.
I've loved country music all my life. As a kid I would rather listen and sing to the songs my folks liked other than the music my peers were listening to. Once a month or so my folks would drag us kids along and get together with family and friends. Pretty soon music would be playing and there'd be a jam session going on. They'd play sometimes 'til the sun came up. I guess that's when the bug bit. I sang with a couple of bands as a teenager. I grew up, got married and started a family. I didn't think I'd be playing and singing in a band again. Never thought I would want to. But after a few jam sessions with some of my ol' buddies, I realized the bug was still there, and still biting. My band buddies are another family. A family that has a common interest. A love for playing good music and having a lot of fun. I hope you have a chance to come out and join us at a show sometime. The mood is contagious. The more fun You have, the more fun We have.
